Drug Allergy

Recently penicillin skin test agents have been reintroduced the market. We can perform skin testing for penicillin in our office followed by a graded challenge.

In addition to penicillin, the following drug skin testing and/or graded challenges are performed in our office:

• Cipro, Levaquin and Avelox
• Cephalosporin antibiotic group
• Clindamycin
• Azithromycin
• Local anesthetic such as Lidocaine or Benzocaine
• Influenza vaccine
• Multiple-drug patch tests to identify drug induced dermatitis
